  1. I answered another question of yours already...

Yes, the Mini is a good car. They are rather competitive at auto-cross events, and from what I understand, they're a kick to drive. However, being a product of the Bavarian Motor Works, they are expensive to maintain. You might be able to find a used one for $15,000.

At your age, a Mini is the last thing you need. Wait until you're married or turn 25.

  2. Cooper Hardtop: $18,700 (115HP)

    Cooper Hardtop S: $21,850 (172HP)

    Cooper Convertible: $22,600 (115HP)

    Cooper Convertible S: $26,050 (168HP)

    Cooper Clubman: $20,600 (118HP)

    Cooper Clubman S: $24,100 (172HP)

John Cooper Works Hardtop: $29,200 (208HP)

John Cooper Works Clubman: $31,400 (208HP)

Mini's are great cars. To say the least, they are like BMW Go-Carts. They are extremely agile and actually safe. Reliability is average, but the BMW Warranty is very good and will cover you for quite some time. If you are interested in getting one, I would recommend the regular Mini Cooper Hardtop for Fuel Efficiency (Up to 35MPG), and the Mini Cooper Hardtop S for Performance.

    Good Luck

Compared to Fords, their build quality is 10X Better is almost every way. This car has very high quality materials found in the higher end BMW's. For a down payment, I would put down around $4,500. But, only you or the Mini Financial Department can answer that question for you. As a first car, I would not recommend financing, or bying new in general. Finding a somewhat cheap Mini will be ahrd considering how good the resale value is. If I were you, I would purchase something like a VW Rabbit or Honda Fit used.

  5. yh its a fab little car and nippy too (fast) its about £26,000 i think, not sure sorry but its in the 20's

  6. Great car, First of all it depends on the mileage but also on whether or not you are choosing the Base trim or the S trim or whether it's a coupe or convertible or the options. The S features are supercharged engine with a dramatic increase in performance. One thing I can tell you is that these cars hold their values over time extremely well in some cases they are even worth more than the original sticker. The first year for the Cooper's was 2002 and the value from their new price has not changed much. So, if you are thinking of buying this car you should because it is a great value.

    Prices: (depends on mileage)

2005 Mini Cooper Base Coupe: $19,550-$23,015

2005 Mini Cooper Base Convertible: $23,500-$26,195

    2005 Mini Cooper S Coupe: $22,200-$25,665

    2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible: $26,100-$28,895

2006 Mini Cooper Base Coupe: $20,700-$24,575

2006 Mini Cooper Base Convertible: $25,000-$28,005

    2006 Mini Cooper S Coupe: $24,100-$27,475

    2006 Mini Cooper S Convertible: $27,800-$31,005

    Hope this helps.

And thanks for answering my weird pineapple question!!
