a heineken mini draught-keg contains 5 Liters, which is the equivalent of a little more than 16 beers, these cost about $20

regular kegs contain about 165 beers, and normally cost about $65 for one of miller lite + a $30 deposit for the keg itself

It depends on what kind of beer, and a keg is more expensive in NYC than Iowa, so location is still a major key factor.

Depends on what kind of beer it is, you will also need a tap for the top of the keg. They will probably want a deposit for the keg and the tap. It still works out cheaper than buying bottles, but most of them have a 30 day life once they have been tapped.
