How much is a paint job for minor rear damage on a car?

Question

No dents, just some paint scratched off.

Not going through insurance, although could if more beneficial.

It depends on how deep the scratches are. take it to a detail shop and see if they can be buffed out. If so it shouldn't be more than $100. If you have to have it repainted, It could be anywhere from $500-$1000 depending on the type and color of the paint and the shops labor rates.

You will be looking at a  minimum of 200-500.00 depending on how big the area is to be refinished and the color of the paint. If it is a red type of color it is a more expensive color to spray because of all the pigments in the paint.
