In my local its €4 for a pint of beer and €3.50 for guinness.And there are 10 -15 pubs in the town i live in.

Dublin is a rip of seen as though the stuff is brewed there it should get more expensive the more it travells where as the opposite is the case.

Dont buy beer in dublin as you are paying over the odds for it.

Was in berlin last week and the price of beer there is way better than here. German beer is cheaper than impoted, why isnt it the same for us.

more like 6 euro if you are in dublin.. many people are now having more and more house parties , and in general... people are preferring to drink at home nowadays.. the alcohol industry blame this on the smoking ban.. but the harsh reality is.. a bottle of miller for  eaxmple is about 5 euro in the pubs, but you can buy 24 bottles for 15 euro in the supermarkets.. so for many people it's a bit of a no brainer really

It depends what parts of Ireland. Cities are inclined to charge more then the smaller towns and villages. So it is between €4 and €6.
