How much is a pound of alumium soda cans? I take them flattened to get cash.?

You have to find a recycler willing to take them.  My dad had a shed where he crushed soda and beer cans.  He had a gigantic machine that did the crushing and the baleing. People would pick them up along the road, etc.  

This math lesson from Cornell says there are about 24 aluminum cans in a pound.
