Machine is ELNA 3005, how much would just a general service be?

  1. At least in my part of the world, a standard clean-oil-adjust from someone I'd trust is about $60-70 for a mechanical machine, about $100 for a computerized machine.  But prices vary all over.

    It's an important thing to do, though, as there are parts that the owner can't get to without voiding warranty on most machines, and those are the  areas most likely to accumulate lint if you use canned air or crummy thread.  


  2. A sewing machine "service"? Do you mean a warrenty or insurence policy that would cover repairs, etc.? I would think you would have to ask the dealer who sold the machine to you about that. Or else contact the manufacturer or your local repair shop.
