How much is a small fish tank heater?

i am getting a 2.65 gallon tank and i was wonderring how much a small heater would cost me

Since i noticed your other questions about betta's i am guessing your asking the price of a heater for a betta tho i  am telling you that you should probally just get a light  the light will heat the water a little and itll look much more prettier in the water than a heater i hope i helped :)

Wal-Mart use to have a small heater for tanks under 5 gallons. But that was years ago. I don't remember what the price was, but you could probably find it on eBay.

I don't they make them for such a small tank. I'd call that cruel and unusual punishment to put any kind of a fish in such a small tank. Some places even ban 10 gallon tanks. If you ask any knowledgeable fish owner, they could tell you it's a standard rule that each fish requires 5 gallons of water for optimial survival.
