how much is a stock tippmann A5.... and how much would it cost to add a low end scope also how much would a 16 inch barrel be?

You can get a stock A5 on Ebay for about $150 new.

A scope is only good for looks on a paintball gun since they will see and be more accurate than the paintball.  A red dot sight will be the closest since it will give an estimation of where the paintball is going to go.

A 16 barrel that will fit and accurately shoot differently sized paintballs is a Palmers Brass Barrel.  Porting of the barrel not needed with a Tippmann and .690 bore:

Another Barrel that would be cheaper is a J&J but for any accuracy you will have to buy a paintball that fits the barrel.  The Palmers Brass Barrel has a unique bore that will fit differently sized paintballs.

A stock Tippman A5 is about $160 or so, but let me suggest getting it with the E-Grip. Its tremendously better. It can switch between semi-auto, 3 shot burst, or full auto. But it cost about $250. If you want something cheaper but with the same features as the top of the line A5 then get a Tippmann 98 custom w/ E-Grip. Its way better than a stock A5 and it cost about $200.

The 16" barrel would probably cost about $40 to $60 depending on the brand that makes the barrel.

A low end scope is probably about $40 but you probably have to buy a  scope mount for your gun which is probably about $12.

If you are looking for a good decnetly priced paintball gun your going to want to go with an ion.. Check www.pbnation.com its the biggest paintball forum in the world and there are millions of guns being sold there each day. If you still want to go with a tippmann A5 you can get them for around $200 dollars. As for a barrel you want to get an ultralite barrel made by dye... www.dyepaintball.com..
