How much does it cost for a travel visa from Mexico to visit the US? Is a travel visa necessary, or is a passport enough?

The application fee is $100.  If you are a Mexican citizen you will need both a Mexican passport and a US visa to enter the United States.  You can apply for the US visa at the embassy in Mexico City or any US consulate.
