  1. My husband and his friends were big fans of the Miyako where we used to live, and they introduced me to their cuisine. The typical meal could range from $15-$30 per person, depending on what you order.  I've gotten their dumpling dinner before (my favorite part of the meal, so why not eat it as one?), and it was cheaper.  The food was excellent: the best Japanese cuisine in town, the best service, and the best variety on the menu.  They offer so many items, it would be hard to say for sure how much you'd spend.  They have combination meals where you get a soup, salad, and an entree with a scoop of sherbet to cleanse the palate.  There are a few desserts, my son's favorite is the green tea ice cream.  You can get saki and green tea with your meal as well, which would make the price go up, but some of our friends loved the authenticity of the entire experience so much that cost was not prohibitive.
