How much is a used NikonD40 worth?

Comes with the basic original lens, strap, batteries, case, etc.

And in pretty good condition, and only about 6 months old.

ebay has it in the $400+ range, but usually Nikons are worth more to someone in your own town.  If you are wanting to buy, try Craig's list and bargain with someone.  If selling try Craig's list and then maybe local newspaper.
