  1. According the Brazilian consulate in New York, British citizens DO NOT require visas for Tourism or Business.  Therefore, if you are soliciting a visa for any other reasons, it should be the same amount the UK charges a Brazilian national for a specific visa. Hence, if the UK charges 100 pounds for a student visa, Brazil will charge a British national the same amount that same visa. Brazil's visa laws are based on reciprocity.

  2. Hi Virgowoman,

I had a look on the website for you, tourist visa for british national is £18 and it takes 5 days.if you apply by post you need to add £8 more as well. I provide the link for the form for your attention, hope it helps.

  3. UK passport holders do not require a visa to enter Brazil. However, passports must be valid for at least six months and a return ticket and proof of sufficient funds may be requested on arrival. Tourists will be admitted for a stay of up to 90 days which is extendable, at the discretion of the Federal Police, for a further 90 days. Tourists are not allowed to work."
