How much is american shot of vodka in ml?

and what is the usual amount of shots for an American guy to drink so he will get drunk?

lol im 15 and i'd say 6-15 shots of a 40% alcohol, whether vodka or whiskey.

I don't drink much, occasionally. Though i do believe i have a very high tolerance because I'm Irish, and my family has a history of drinking. I don't know the exact amount of ml in a shot glass, because they vary.

I'm 6ft by the way, and this sounds sort of like a joke question.. doesn't ring a bell though..

As another post has it , 45ml which is an ounce and a half.

about 45ml in most places.  30ml in Utah though.  I don't know what the American avergage is but it is probably lower than the Russian one.

haha 1.5 ounce is the usual shot.  it depends on how big you are or how much you drink on how drunk you get.  If you drink a lot it takes more to get drunk.  if you are small it takes less to get drunk
