You can't get it prepaid but you could get one and get a 2 year contract

sorry don't know- I live in the UK. I didn't think you could buy them on pay as you go anyway

Apple iPhone 3G is not available on Pay As You Go. You've to buy them with 2-years of AT&T contract. The price for the 8GB is $199 and 16GB is $299. Their charges are $90/month with unlimited data and texting. The price for one without contract is $599 for 8GB and $699 for 16GB but it's not available yet.
