How much is an acoustic guitar?

How much is an acoutic guitar? What is the price range for a good one? which brand do you recommend? I want to learn, so Im new to guitars. What should I look for?

I have to yamaha's the fg450 and the fg 300 and they are all right. but if you are looking to get a good acoustic look at a takamine as they are the best acoustic's i have played. As for the price, they start at 350-400 and go up to about 1700 bucks.

Fender is a great brand, but its kinda expensive.

Because you are a begginner, I suggest you start learning on a basic acoustic guitar, nothing too flashy and expensive. You can get a good, decent guitar for $200-$300?  Just look around your local music stores and ask the people there for advice and recommendations.

Well there's no specific amount, because they vary in different places, and the condition. But they're usually a little less expencive than electrics. I'd guess around $200-$1,000 for a good one. at least, thats the price i would guess. If you want a specific answer, and a good price, try looking some up on amazon.com, craigslist, or ebay.com. they usually have them for pretty great prices. good luck!

An acoustic guitar can range from a crappy walmart $40 guitar, to amazing Martins and Taylors for 2-6 thousand bucks. If you want to buy a guitar thats good for a begginer and even professional for cheap, go with a Takamine or Ibanez. Both range from about $150 bucks to $900. Great guitars that are cheap and sound good. I've been playing guitar for 4 years and I use an Ibanez. About to upgrade to a Martin though. Go to a guitar center and ask. Those guys will tell you the same thing. Maybe a Seagull or an Alvarez too. But those aren't as famous, and might cost a lot.
