How much is an insult, if a business for sale is open to offers?

As titles reads i have seen a business for sale. one that i am currently thinking of getting into myself. It has no price but instead £offers. So would one assume that i can offer any price and they either decline or accept. and if they are asking for offers does it mean it will likely sell or the seller will likely agree to a much lower than market price. thanks

  1. well you have to look at like this. if it is open for offers it is a silint auction and the highest bidder get the store so how bad do you want it will depened on the price you offer

  2. They won't sell for less than they expect unless all of their offers are low.

There's a good chance that they don't know how much their business is worth, hence the £offers...
