  1. p**p

  2. 99% of the time, there is no bond for a probation/parole violator. I speak from experience. Here's what could happen:

-your PO won't "violate" you, but will recommend you for "maximum supervision", which usually means that you will have to report more often and submit to more frequent UAs.

-you will get violated, a warrant will be issued for your arrest, and once you are arrested, you will sit in jail until you go to court. Once you go to court, the judge will either a) give you jail time--which can be anywhere from a week to a month, or even more), b) extend the term of your probation, or c) revoke your probation and you will serve the remainder of your original sentence in jail or prison. A&B are the typical outcomes, but I've seen some get revoked for failing UAs, especially if they have failed more than one.

    Good luck to you.

  3. In this situation, you may be  charged with a TPV (Technical Probation Violation) for dirty urine. This is not a new criminal charge, but a VOP.

This is now a call from your probation department and a lot of this will depend on what their standard policy is for VOP's.

In Ohio, where I am, you would get out patient rehab on a first dirty urine drop. A second bad drop would get inpatient rehab and if you walk away or get a third, you would be violated and more then likely have your sentence reinstated.

The main point of this is to remember that you have already been through the legal system. This is a post conviction item we are dealing with at this time.

If you were charged with paraphenalia (as an example), you wwould be entitled by law for a bond hearing and you would have an amount set for a new charge, but the charge itself would also yield a VOP, so you would still have a detainer hold on you. Even if you paid the bond for the new charge, you would not be allowed to leave until the VOP has been decided one way or the other.

Best advice would be to discuss this with your PO. If I can offer any advice, living under supervision is FAR better then sitting in jail cell staring at a wall. Be honest with your PO and let him/her know that you will stay on a straight path for the remainder of your time.

Best of luck and I hope this is useful to you

  4. I've been in your shoes, last year in august i got picked up on probation violation and because i didn't have an failure to appears in court, my bond was $900. the jails are so full, they don't want you there but they do want your money. it's not guaranteed you'll get bail but i've seen it happen and i've gotten it myself. hope this helps. however, that won't stop them from sentencing you to go to jail, typical violation is 4 months, they go with whatever your po recommends

  5. There is no bail for parole violation.  You are either placed on more stringent probation or put in jail.

  6. Good job. You are the one of “the people” leaching off of society

You’re going directly to jail. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.

  7. my live in boyfriend of 5 years had a violation of probation for driving while license suspended...he went to his probation officer the next day and the officer told him he has to wait for the warrant to be issued...it took 3 weeks cause yesterday when my boyfriend went to see his probation officer every month like usual, he got arrested right then and there...he had a first court appearance and the judge gave no bond because  it was a p.o.v so he is stuck sitting in jail until his next court appearance which they scheduled in 5 weeks. If you are lucky to make bail...it depends what the judge wants to do. good luck!!

  8. Why would you violate your probation? I dont think it will be that much it depends on alot of stuff even like the judge if you have a lawyer and stuff like that.

  9. Varies....need more info.

  10. On a probation or parole violation, there is no bail.

You blew it and have to sit this one out.

  11. I don't know but if you are on probabion and broke probation, they probably wont let you out because you obviously don't get it and you need supervision to kick the illegal habits you are into.  Good luck,
