blackboard paint is for blackboards, like for writing on with chalk, it's not for painting wall's with for decoration,

really it depends where you get it from,

its usually just a couple dollars more then regular paint.

i saw this really cool thing they did on tv. you can make your own custom chalk board paint. you buy non sanded grout and any color paint you want and just mix them together and you have your own custom chalk board paint. hope this helps
