  1. Try using http://My-InsuranceSearch.com to compare car insurance rates for all the major providers in your area.

  2. BJ, I recommend you visit a local auto insurance agent to help. Since I live in Pennsylvania I can't suggest an agent in Maryland, but here is an resource that can help you. http://www.usinsuranceadvisor.com/Auto-I...

  3. The cost will be $1000 and more per year.  Contact the company that insures your parents cars.  The following websites may be of help: www.quote@2insure4less.com

  5. For automobile insurance the obvious way to get a low rate is do a rate comparison on car policies. Make sure that you choose similar options with the same deductibles, car make, zip code, etc so that all things are a good comparison.

What I usually recommend is an online comparison quote at http://www.InsureAutoNow.info since they have discount insurers and will give several prices on car insurance polices.

  6. just try this: http://insurance.moneysavecenter.com/ it saves plenty of time as it's just the one form but it compares a ton of top insurers. You'll get plenty of quotes in no time.

  7. It would depend the the car. I suggest going to a couple of different websites and requesting free quotes. You can either google auto insurance or look up companies you know like state farm, all state, geico, the general....

  9. It's hard to give you a dollar amount because it depends on a lot of different factors.  The most important one being, what type of vehicle will you be driving? The best kind of car to insure teenage drivers on is one that is 5-7 years old with good safety features.

At your age, auto insurance is not going to be cheap, so you need to make sure you do everything you can to find an affordable rate.  Make sure you ask your insurance company about the good student discount (requires B average or better).  That will definitely save you alot of money on your premium.
