How much is car insurance for an average 16 year old girl teenager per year?

We live in ohio and the car is a used 2004 honda civic.

It really depends a lot on the company that you are with. Most companies give  what is referred to as a "Good Student" discount if she has a 3.0 grade point average or higher that will greatly help!

The only way to really know for sure is to ask your agent or company.

I would also go ahead and get some alternative quotes from other companies to have on hand in case your company's rates are too high. they wildly differ so take more than one quote till you find cheap (er)

Depends on the location in the country and whether you get a good student discount etc.  Without discounts, we'd be paying about $2400 for full coverage for an '06 Honda, but I'm in an area of the country that's high.

a LOT.  it depends on what coverage you carry, driving record, etc...  but its high for a 16 yr old no matter.  you need to be placed on your parents policy.  have them contact their agent and they will be able to tell them exactly what the increase will be
