  1. It really depends a lot on the company that you are with. Most companies give  what is referred to as a "Good Student" discount if she has a 3.0 grade point average or higher that will greatly help!

The only way to really know for sure is to ask your agent or company.

I would also go ahead and get some alternative quotes from other companies to have on hand in case your company's rates are too high. Someone posted an article on Yahoo the other day that I clicked on and really liked. I would strongly suggest reading this article it really seemed to make a lot of sense at least to me. You read it at: http://mysite.verizon.net/ressg6c7/artic... Also you can insurance consumer sites such as http://www.InsuranceEasy.org

  2. I would like to recommend you grab as much as resource as you can before making decision, here is a good place for that purpose.http://insurance.free-onlinetip.info/ins...

  3. It depends on the type of coverage you will be getting, but prepare to be paying alot for insurance because you're a new driver.

  4. it depends on the policy, the car, where you live etc it's easier if you just take a quote on the sites, like http://best-american-insurers-free-compa...

they wildly differ so take more than one quote till you find cheap (er)

  5. Depends on the location in the country and whether you get a good student discount etc.  Without discounts, we'd be paying about $2400 for full coverage for an '06 Honda, but I'm in an area of the country that's high.

  6. Just get a quote here and you'll get an idea http://www.moneysavecenter.com

They are like flight prices, go for a dear one, pay a lot... go for a cheap one, pay little.

Some people go for the first they find and pay through their teeth, some don't. There are tons of places that you can buy insurance from and it's free to ask for their price.

It's up to you what you do.

  7. a LOT.  it depends on what coverage you carry, driving record, etc...  but its high for a 16 yr old no matter.  you need to be placed on your parents policy.  have them contact their agent and they will be able to tell them exactly what the increase will be

  8. For car insurance the quick way to get a cheap quote is do a auto policy comparison. If you choose the same coverage amounts, you can get an quick quote to compare against others. Use the same zip code, car make/model, mileage and driving history to ensure you get accurate comparison. To get fast auto insurance quotes, go to http://www.easyautoinsuranceguide.com/Oh... and you can compare the major auto insurance companies.
