you could check out some "pound - shops". if they have them in stock you csn get some wire for as little as a pound!

It depends where you live. Very reasoonable price. You need more than that though. I presume you have a box for it to eat and sleep.

About £1 or $2 a meter but it depends where you buy it from. You'll get it for a much lower price from a farming supplies store.
