Depends on where you eat, of course. You can easily do it for $40 a day. Ben's Chili Bowl is a good start, Maine Avenue Fish Market is great fun and good as well as cheap. So, for less than $300 you can eat well. If you stick with MacD's it's even cheaper.

Like anywhere it depends on where and how much you eat but I just got back from DC and its not as expensive as I would have thought. Have a great time!
