  1. The math is already done, I see, and so the other moderately interesting point is that he was referring, of course, is 1863 - 87 = 1776. I believe that that was the year some colonials became demonstrably unhappy with Good King George III and informed him, in a manner of speaking, that his services would be no longer required.

    four score and seven = 80 + 7 = 87 years

    He was referring to the year 1776. (America's freedom).
