  1. Here's the thing, you probably think our prices are terrible, well they are, but consider two points...

1  We are paying around 5 pounds (approx 10 dollars a "Gallon") for petrol.  Our gallons are bigger than your gallons.

2  Usually, our cars tend to be manual transmission, and typically a lot smaller, lighter and more fuel-efficient than your cars are.  So although your gallons are cheaper, because they are SMALLER and you need MORE of them to cover 100 miles, I bet our costs for that same journey are not far from being about equal!

  2. HERE IN LONDON  ABOUT £5 A GALLON WHICH IS $10 THERE IM SURE YOU WOULDNT PAY THAT BUT THE AGAIN YOU THINK OFF IT BEERS IS MADE FROM WATER AND HOPS AND THATS ABOUT £24 A GALLON  PITY WE CANT RUN OUR CARS ON BULLSHIT THE GOVERNMENT COULD RUN ALL OUR MOTORS FOR NOTHING

  3. 60pence for gas, 116pence for unleaded petrol. That's for a litre.

  4. Here in Poole Dorset unleaded is £1.15  Super unleaded £1.22  Diesel is £1.29 All are per Litres. It is now cheper to use the bus due to the cost of gas and car parking and yes we are guess walking more. In the UK at 60 years old you get your free bus pass so it not to for them bad.

  5. Im in rural Scotland and the prices tend to be a little higher here, currently £1.18 for petrol and £1.30 for diesel. The high costs haven't affected me in any way apart from the light wallet!

Because of where i live there are no public transport links available to take me to and from work and no one else that i work beside lives here either so car sharing is out of the question. I travel 30 miles a day for work purposes and it's around 12 miles to the nearest shopping area.

This, i believe is very unfair compared to living in the cities which have alternative modes of transport, we should have some sort of tax relief calculated on home and work postcodes or something!

  6. Here in North Essex it has fallen about 4p to £115 per litre.

Yes, I don't drive now to the more distant supermarkets.

I walk a little more too.
