  1. Each state has different rates based on age and s*x. You can visit the Blue Cross Blue Shield website in your state, and they will have prices online.

  2. I wish my experience is helpful for you. Here is the good resource.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/...

  3. The truth is that monthly rates can vary widely.  Depending on your state, your age, and your current health, you might be able find a plan with a brand-name company for as little as $40 a month, or as much as $300.  One thing to keep in mind, however, is that the real cost of health insurance is about more than just the monthly premiums that you pay.  You might also want to consider how much you are willing to pay for copayments when you visit the doctor, or for an annual deductible.  A higher deductible can keep your monthly payments lower, but can mean you pay more out of pocket in case of a serious injury or hospitalization.  I work for eHealthInsurance.com and on our site you can compare plan rates and benefits (and copayments and deductibles, etc.) side by side and apply for coverage online.  If you want help figuring out which is the best match for you, it’s a good idea to talk with a licensed agent, too, like those in our Customer Care center.

  4. If you're 20 and healthy, about $200 a month for a low/no deductible plan.

  5. I  ask people to look at HSA Health Savings Accounts.

    Get information at this site.

  6. Individual health insurance will typically cost about 1/3 to 1/2 of the cost of a group health insurance plan (this differs by state but this is true in most states).

The reason that individual health insurance is so much cheaper is that only about 80% of people that apply for an individual plan are accepted. Think of it like: individual is cheaper than group because with individual health the insurance company gets to pick and choose why they will accept onto their plan (they will of course choose the healthy people who represent less of a risk to the insurance company to insure) while group is so much more expensive because the insurance company has to accept everyone onto the plan (even very unhealthy people).

The key is to get and always keep continuous health insurance coverage because once you are on an individual plan then the insurance company is forbidden by law to single you out for a rate increase.

If you do all that you can to keep continuous coverage and then for reasons beyond your control you are not able to keep your health insurance coverage then there are laws (HIPAA) that are designed to force insurance companies to offer you coverage.

In a nutshell, individual health insurance is much cheaper than group, you should always maintain coverage so that you don't get denied, and if something happens outside of your control then ask an agent about the HIPAA health insurance laws.
