It depends on where you live, your age, health, and what type of policy you have. Where I live, insurance for a 20 year old male  starts at $36 and goes up to $185. Most guys that age pay about $85. For a 64 year old it starts at $211 and goes up to $501 per month. Add more if you smoke, or had health issues when you enrolled in the plan. Add a lot more if you live in one the five states that have guaranteed issue individual insurance.
