  1. Installation is free but the receiver will cost you $5 a month extra.

  2. in short, all that would need to be paid is the cost of the additional receiver (leased prices are $69 for a standard no-frills one, $99 for HD *OR* DVR capabilities and $299 for HD-DVR - it's significantly more to OWN the boxes), and an additional $5 per month for the additional programming on the extra tv.

The order includes standard professional installation, meaning they'll do all the basic stuff. Since you already have the dish mounted, it'll likely be an easy job.

  3. dish network is very expensive. they get there tc stations from FREE satellite stations up in space. These are FREE waves that they charge US. So what i did is i found this amazing product. Its called SATELLITE TV PC. you can watch over 3000 channels on your PC from 78 countires right off the internet. THIS IS 100% legal and it saves you lots of money.

    Here is the link:

  4. I think once you're already under contract it's $50 to install a new receiver.

  5. Installation is free. The activation is what costs money. That depends on the type of programing he wants to pay for in that room. It can be a different plan than the rest of the house if he has his own receiver. Then the cost of having it hooked up to a phone line, then the cost of a DVR if there is one.

I know you can get the install for free if you shop around. then the activation depends on a lot of things. You might be able to get the install and activation free if you get a package. Maybe premium channels or add a DVR then the whole thing might be free. Best bet is to call a few different places but do not tell them your phone number or address or name because they will actively look for you and will not give you a deal if they find out you are shopping around, they want to make a sale on the spot. If there is no on the spot sale they will not allow a contractor to do it for free. I used to work for another satellite company and I hated working for them, it was the wost job I ever had. The programming is great but it is like walmart. they treat the employee as a piece of sh*t. Good Luck
