  1. My father's cost around $6,000. US money.  It wasn't the least expensive, but by far it wasn't the most either.  You have to pay extra for alot of unnecessary things like curling your loved ones hair may cost 250 dollars!!!  You don't necessarily have to agree to everything they try to sell. Your loved one isn't going to heaven in a golden coffin so that you can't eat for the next 10 years and become homeless, if you understand what I mean. It cost us $1 per word just for the obituary alone. With a family of 12 kids all married with children we were jokingly divorcing our siblings partners to save money!! Th obit did cost $175 for 1 day only in the paper!  Burial plot here in upstate NY was $250. Just ask alot of questions and sorry for your loss.

  2. In Poland it's around €1000

  3. The fees vary depending on all the details you choose to have, like which casket, how long of an obituary you have them post in the newspaper, and many other assorted details.  If you stick with the bare basics, you won't get by for less than about $5,000 to $7,000 minimum.

  4. Here in the UK upwards of £2000, it really is costly.

  5. Varies all over the place. I, unfortunately, have had to plan funerals for friends and relatives. There are so many variables that you need to consider and price out. Here are just a few: Type of interment, type of coffin, headstone or not, church funeral or what, etc., etc.

  6. 7-15 grand! or more if u want it fancy
