How much is it to get a roof window installed? U.K?

Getting our loft boarded for storage ect would like a window installed to. How much would we expect to pay?

To supply & install a Velux rooflight with flashing kit etc would cost around £2k assuming that you have access to the roof by scaffold etc

you can also have a specific black-out blind fitted internally

& window can be operated by remote controlled if required

Depends on whether you can get if fitted from inside or not.

Modest-sized windows are pretty cheap. Check on planning issues first though.

Scaffolding costs a small fortune; They may be able to work from a roof ladder to create a hole from outside, or create the hole from inside and they can certainly do all the making good from inside,as I've seen it done.

Depends on location, but I'd say 3 man-days labour plus parts. 1000 at the very most.
