How much is it to live in Chicago?

So if you were looking at buying a place in the city (not the suburbs) of Chicago by all the tall buildings how much would it be? Like maybe a place with 700 square feet. what are the ranges.

studio $1000 a month and up

1br $1500 a month and up

2 br $2000 a month and up

More than  you can afford. A house in any decent part of the city, especially in the loop which I think your referring to because of "tall buildings" your going to be looking at the gold coast area so probably multi-millions of dollars for a house.

You wanna live in downtown chicago that's really expensive
