  1. Call the course and ask, since courses have wildly differing policies that can vary based on where you're at.

Some courses do not allow walking, and mandate all players ride (this is common for weekend play).

Typically, you will need a driver's licence to take a cart because of liability and insurance reasons.

Hope this helps; enjoy your round.  Remember to keep up with the group in front of you.

  2. depending on the club but most range from $15-30

    i know a couple are 10's

and license, depending again i think

  3. Yeah it depends on the golf course.  Most public courses that offer golf cart as an alternative to walking will charge anywhere between $10 to $30 depending on the quality of the course.  Other courses REQUIRE cart and is included in the green fee.  Your best bet is to call the course' Pro Shop and ask ahead of time.

  4. 10 dollars.

  5. It's about $25 to $30 depending on the club you attend, and no! you don't need a licence.

  6. Typically, the fee to play a round of golf includes the price of the cart. You can give a call to the course you are going to play and they will quote you a price, this will include the price of the cart. Just to make sure and not sound like a beginner, ask the price to walk as well. Some courses do not allow walking and they will tell you if that is the case.

Anyone can drive the cart, but there are usually rules on where you can drive it. It is a good idea to ask the starter what the rules are for that day. If they say the 90 degree rule is in effect, that means you need to stay on the cart path until you go as far as your ball went and then go straight out to your ball, hit it and drive straight back to the cart path.

They will also tell you when you cannot drive on the par three holes. When you get close to the hole you will see signs pointing the carts to the path. Do not drive any closer to the green when you see these.

  7. ten dollars per person

  8. $5 to $45 bucks... yeap, but not necessary - they just want to make sure you are who you say your are...

Please for the love of God, don't drive the thing into the lake...

  9. Where I play most they charge $36 for 18 holes, and that is usually split between two golfers.  You must be at least 16 years old.

  10. 100 to 150 dollars

  11. Typically, clubs offer carts for anywhere from 10-30 dollars a person, with discounts applying if two people ride.  (ie. 15 for one rider, 25 for two (5 dollar savings)).  A drivers license IS required by courses for a liability issue.  Clubs will not accept a permit, only a license.  Hope this helps and have fun on the links
