  2. Your best bet is to go to a junk yard you can probably pick it up for cheap but before you go to the scrap yard find out when they have the 50 dollar days where its whatever you can carry for 50 bucks

    p.s. most likely your Gage Cluster is probably done for

    but if you go to a shop your looking at a couple hundred bucks

  3. If you have a wrench, pliers, jack stands (or ramps) it should cost less then 50 dollars for the part and it will take longer to set the job up then to do the work.

    The speed sensor is on the tailpiece of the transmission where the speedometer cable used to attach. It is either screwed on the an adapter, or bolted in (never having done this one I am not sure). There is also an electrical pig tail that ties it in to the rest of the cars electronics.

    Most shops will have a minimum charge associated with the job which is either 1/2 or 1 hours labor. That should be enough time for them to do it.
