How much is it to send a letter from England to the USA?

The letter is about 9inches by 4inches and there are about four large pages of typing in it folded to fit of course, first class mail.

you cant send a letter first class to america it would need to be weighed at the post office and be sent airmail you can check prices out at the link provided below

it depends on the weight, if you take it along to a postoffice and ask them you would just like to know how much they would be able to tell you.

Last time I sent an envelope which was A5 size to the USA it contained about 5 postcards and a letter.  It cost about £1.70.  It depends on the weight just I think.  I was told it would take at least 7 days Airmail, but it was really quick and only about 5 days.  Which is pretty good considering how far it will travel!

Get it weighed at the post office and mention that it is going overseas.

The will probably send it via Air-mail.
