I'm just wondering how much is it to stay at hotels/motels?

I would like to stay in a cheap hotel/motel.

And which town should I visit?

I am a Australian, if that helps!

  1. Totally depends on the area - you might find travel lodge style places from €49 but they'll be miles outside cities/towns.  Try looking on tripadvisor.com it's usually fairly good for giving a list of hotels/motels etc.  Cork is a great place to visit, relaxed and friendly, but there's probably more sights in Dublin.  Prices are dearer than Australia for everything - eating out, travelling, places to stay etc, and especially drink!

  2. The cheaper way to go is to stay and B&B's. The people are very nice with beautiful homes and can give you great advice on places to see and places to shop and dine.

  3. Try http://www.cheaphotel-s.com . Its suppose to search from 30 online booking websites, lets you compare and choose from 77,000 hotels.

Give it a try and let us know if it was usefull. Do inform us if you find other websites

  4. It varies. the best way would be to write to Bord Failte, O'Connell St. Dublin 1 or go on Ireland, and Check out Guest Houses, Hotels, and Hostels in Ireland.Go Touring, there are many Towns to visit, such as Dublin. Limerick, Cork, Kilkenny, Carlow,Sligo, Belfast, Donegal, and much, much, more.

If you visit Dublin, a visit to Ireland's oldest stone roofed Church still in continuous use. Circa. 5th Cent. is a must do thing. It has over 1,500 years of history. It is located in Balgriffin, 6 miles from Malahide on the R107. It is called St Doulagh's. check it out on the website. Enjoy your visit.
