  1. Actually its $8 which started in Jan. 08 before it was $7.50


  2. It is 8.00 dollars for legal workers.  For all of the illegals standing in front of the Home Depot, it is 7.00 dollars

  3. It is $8.00.  There are waivers that service industry (tipped employees) workers can sign to make less, but this is more of an exception than anything.

  4. Yeah, around eight bucks an hour.  If you plan on relocating to this area based on minimum wage alone, keep in mind the higher cost of living.  We pay a price to live in a such a beautiful area.

  11. minimum wage is a social handicap. I know somebody that hires people.. and he ask them how much they want to make. if they say minimum wage thats what they get. If they can show what their worth and ask for $15 per hour more than likely that will be negotiated down to $11 or $12 per hour...

    which is more than minimum.

    My sister has only a high shcool diploma.. she just got offered a $34.25 per hour job... with benefits.

    a kick *** resume, and a preparation for the intervie is all you need. study the company you will interview for.

    you get what you ask for.. if you want minimum thats what you get!
