and trust me it is awesome to have a aughtograph from such a awesome player. Are u a yankee fan?

    if u are good choice

    Red sox suck balls

  2. 100-200

  3. these are all bozos that are throwing out numbers that come into their head.

As a big jeter fan, i have checked websites and his autograph is worth anywhere from $450-550. here are a couple of links that show the price, see for yourself.

  4. probably about $100.

  5. it depends on the certificate and where on the ball he signed, sweet spot or side panel under the all star logo. either way your looking in the $150 to $200 range

  6. Depends on where you go to sell it--in new york, it would be worth more than in say, boston (well, DUH, lol). Seriously, save it, it will only increase in value. You could try "selling" it on ebay and you'll get an idea from the bids made. As soon as derek is in the hall, your ball will increase in value alot.

  7. The moron claiming 500 and 1000-2000 is simply making up figures, it's completely baffling to me that people come in here and answer these "how much is it worth" with complete guesses. At least you didn't get the idiot who answers "whatever someone is willing to pay" the most useless answer ever.

Right now the ball is worth $80-100, more in New York, but if you were to sell it on Ebay, being it's a buyers market, you probably wouldn't get more than $100, I'd guess closer to $75. But at no point will the ball be worth $1000-2000 like the idiot was saying, it's just amazing that these people have access to a computer to spread their lies. And she has the nerve to write "hope I could help." Yes, anyone can make up figures off the top of their head, how is that helping?

  8. $120

  9. It could be worth 500 dollars but keep it for like maybe 2 more years because then it will be worth like at least $1,000$2,500. Hope I oculd help! :P

  10. sence Derek Jeter is on the Yankees for magers and he is really good it would probaly be about 350 or 450

NEW YORK -- Derek Jeter has hit big home runs at Shea Stadium before, but the two-run shot he belted in the fourth inning on Sunday against Mets right-hander John Maine reminded Yankees manager Joe Torre of one of the biggest.

"It was like a flashback to the (2000) World Series," Torre said after the Yankees won, 6-2, to salvage the final game of this weekend's Subway Series. "We had just lost the previous game and he hits the first pitch out. He's been a big-time player all the time I've been here."

Jeter was amused by his manager's assessment, even though the comparison may have been somewhat apt.

"Really?" Jeter said. "I don't hit too many of them. That's why he probably remembers it."

The Yanks had just lost Game 3 of that World Series when Jeter led off Game 4 right here with a homer off another Mets right-hander, Bobby Jones. On Sunday night after losing the opening two games of the series, Johnny Damon had just dumped a two-run double into right field when Jeter connected again, turning a 2-1 lead into a more comfortable 4-1 margin.

In 2000, of course, the Yankees went on to take Games 4 and 5 to capture their latest of 26 World Series championships. On Sunday night, the win sent the 19-23 Yankees back to Yankee Stadium for a three-game series with the Red Sox, beginning on Monday night. They trail first-place Boston by 10½ games in the American League East.

With 120 games to go, it may be strange to hear anyone talking about "must win" situations, but there was the Yankees captain standing in the middle of the tight clubhouse sounding the clarion call.

"I don't care who we're playing and I don't care how we do it," Jeter said. "You know, at this point we're trying to get wins. It's good to get this one, but we come right back (Monday) against Boston. We have to keep going."

With a double and the homer in four at-bats, Jeter is humming along, batting .365, a remarkable two-year run of consistency, considering he also hit .343 last season to just miss winning his first AL batting title.

Jeter also hit more homers than he wants to let on -- 186 during the regular season and 17 more in the playoffs. Memorable? There was the 10th-inning walk-off homer in Game 4 of the 2001 World Series against the Diamondbacks at Yankee Stadium that came after Tino Martinez had tied it with a two-out, ninth-inning homer. Byung-Hyun Kim gave up both the crucial shots.

"He's an unbelievable player," said left-hander Andy Pettitte, who played with Jeter on all four Yankees World Series winners of this era and is back with the club after three seasons in Houston. "I can't say enough about how great a clutch player I think he is. I played with (Jeff) Bagwell and (Craig) Biggio late in their careers. Lance Berkman was the only guy who was really an offensive threat down there. He stepped up big time in the postseason, but you can't compare him with Derek because Derek has done it for so many years."

Jeter's career, now in its 13th season, has spanned all of Torres' 12-year tenure as manager of the Yankees. A seven-time All-Star, Torre was so secure with Jeter at shortstop that 10-time All-Star Alex Rodriguez agreed to move to third base in 2004 when A-Rod came to the Yankees. And there he remains.

Rodriguez hit his 17th homer on Sunday night to lead off the seventh inning just to give the Yankees some more padding. It was the 481st of his career. But Rodriguez has never played in a single World Series game and is still chasing Jeter's four rings.

No wonder Torre waxes eloquent about Jeter when he remembers better days.

"I don't hit many home runs and I'm not trying to," Jeter said about his clutch fourth-inning situation. "Especially in that situation. Johnny's on second, there are two out and you're just trying to get a hit and bring him in. Two-out hits with runners in scoring position are tough to get. In that case, I was just lucky to hit it out."
