I found a very interesting penny and had to add it to my collection of error coins. It is of the small date variety, by the way. It is a 1960-D broad strike cent. It was struck so that the L in "Liberty"has an elongated bottom and the motto("In God We Trust") is kind of "smeared" on the penny. It is kind of shaped like a dish if you were to look at it from the side (.the indentation is on the Lincoln head side.). Now on the memorial side, things get really interesting. It has much more space between the wording around the edges than it normally does, and instead of "ONE CENT", it appears to say, "ONF CFNT", but the bottom of the letters are not cut off, and there is about 1mm of space between those words and the edge of the coin. You can faintly see the bottom of the E in "CENT", but in "ONE", it actually looks like it was made an F on purpose! I really don't care if it's not worth much, as I love my error coin collection, but I am quite curious.
