This is not my real question

i want to put some old hoover pipes in my pc beacuase it looks like liquid cooling and looks good

the only problem is i am not sure whether theses pipes generate static

if they do how can i permanatley remove the static

  1. they wont generate static :)


  2. They're metal right? You just need to ground them to the metal part of the case, either by having them physically touch the metal or by putting a ground wire in an inconspicuous place that touches the metal part of the case and the metal part of the pipe.

    If you have the pipes bolted to anything metal that touches the case, you're done with the grounding. If you use a plastic fitting, you'd need a ground wire or something to be sure its grounded.

  3. Stationary pipes don't generate static electricity.  You'd need to have something rubbing against them to cause that.
