How much is my pocket watch worth, or where could I find this information out?

I SEEM NOT TO BE ABLE TO FIND ANY INFORMATION ABOUT MY POCKET WATCH. IT'S A ILLINOIS 19 JEWEL ADJUSTED 3 POSITIONS 10KT. GOLD FILLED MODEL 177. I HAVE THE SERIAL NUMBER, BUT STILL THAT IS'NT BEING HELPFULL TO ME AT THE MOMENT! BUT HERE IT IS: 4699115 IT'S MADE BY SPRINGFIELD ILLINOIS WATCH CO. *IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME THAT WOULD BE GREAT! INFORMATION LIKE THE DATE IT WAS MADE AND WHAT IT'S WORTH, SURE WOULD PUT AN END TO MY MADNESS!!!! THANKS A BUNCH! :)

Pocket watches are not very common like they were back in the good old days. I have a pocket watch that an old man gave me for  painting his garage. I sold it for $3,000.00

It was a Railroad Conductors Pocketwatch valued at $6,000.00, but could only get 3k.

I took mine to a gold jewelry shop here that gave me my estimate of the watch.
