How much is my pool table worth?

I can't find a model number or anything like that. There's a bronze-looking badge on the ledge that says:

Olhausen

The Best in Billiards

featuring

Accu-Fast

Cushions

And under the ledge on the frame (i guess) is a similar badge that says:

Olhausen

The Best in Billiards

featuring

Uni-Liner

Construcion

It's in mint conditon, it's 8'x4.5' (from the outer-edges - is that the proper way to measure it?), and weighs about 50 tons. Real solid-wood contruction, real tough leather pockets. I looked all over and can't find a model #. How do I find out what this giant thing is here in my game room? I don't want to hire a pro to come in here and lie to me about its value...

  1. To measure the table, you measure the playing surface (from cushion to cushion).  The playing surface on a pool table is always a 2:1 ratio for length and width.  I would contact Olhausen and ask them your questions.  I'm sure that they would be happy to help you find a model number.  You might even find a picture of your table on their website so you know which model you are referring to.  Good luck.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.
