How much is new siding?

I have aluminum siding now and need to replace it, most likely with vinyl of some sort. I would need aroun 1,500 sf. Any ideas?

  1. It really depends on the brand and quality you buy also where are you buying it from some places charge by the square foot for siding.

  3. Honestly i can tell you from working at 84 lumber that basic georgia pacific siding is your best valur for your money. Its a thick siding that wont crack easily. You shouldn't pay more than $65.00 per square. A square is 100 square ft. There are 2 squares of siding per box. which is 200 sq ft. Just 2 give you an idea out cost per square was around $50.00 per sqaure so that will give you an idea of how much different reatailers are marking it up. Hope this helps.
