I'm 33 and I have always wanted to get my teeth fixed. I inherited the same problems from my mother. I don't have enough room for my teeth. They don't look too bad if I don't smile too big...I still have a baby tooth (I tooth) because the adult tooth is impacted. I suffer from Migraines and was told that this can sometimes be from an impacted tooth. My mother who also has this problem, suffers from them too!!! Anyway...When I finally saved enough money to get the braces put on the dentist came back with my x-rays and said that he wouldn't be able to because of the impacted tooth and that I would have to seek an oral surgeon to have surgery first and that he would put the braces on afterwards...my question is how much is that going to cost and will medical insurance cover oral surgery? seriously...I was wanting to break down right there in the chair!!!

  1. Oral surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and Lasik surgery in India by a company called Indian Health Guru Consultants. The Price for dental and Lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.

Indian Health Guru Consultants is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, Lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories.

They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

  2. In regardss to the oral surgery there is no way to know the cost.  It is dependant upon so many factors.

Medical insurance may cover it, if the oral surgeon can justify to the insurance company that you have a medical need for the surgry
