  1. I just paid $3.17 in New York and I thought that was high!! In the UK, you use the royal gallon, which contains more gasoline than the US gallon, but it's still an outrageous amount of money to pay. If prices doubled, I would still need to drive the same distance; I've been worrying about this very question.

  2. Holy c**p! $7.65 per gallon! I would flip out if gas prices jumped that high. I would probably drive less.. be picky about where I drive. I would give up going to the grocery store as many times per week as I do now.

It's currently around $3.03/US gallon in Stockton, California (aka the Central Valley). It has come down a bit from several months ago when it was in the $3.50s

At the local Safeway grocery store, if you spend at least $50 in one transaction, they give you a one time 10 cent discount per gallon on gas. And since I spend that much on groceries very often, I always get at least 10cents off. And when I havent spent that much at once in a while, they always give a 3cent per gallon discount for Safeway club card members, which I am!

  3. like 3.46/US Gallon (i Live in El Salvador) and it would like cause a mayor inflation here.
