Im throwing a party for about 500-1000 people.

  1. That's a massive party.  Assuming your homeowners doesn't want to cover it, I'd guess it would be at LEAST $750.


  2. A separate "event" policy is a commercial policy that is generally a $750 minimum premium.  Before you do that, call your homeowners insurance agent & find out if it is covered by your homeowners policy.  It may be, for free.

  3. It varies State to State, but if you have a HO policy, check with your company.....they'll most likely just endorse it.  Otherwise, it could be pricy.
