  1. There is no data to answer this. It could be that you have something worth millions or nothing. You can get a general idea by going to the public library and get a copy of Scotts stap Catalog, it's several volumes, and the current year will be in ref. however last years will give you a feel for value.  First read the intro on grading stamps that's 80% of value. then how to identify stamps. then take a look at the countries and stamps you have and see what they are worth. If they look real good have two or three dealers look at them and make an offer. If very very good contact an auction house to evaluate the collection and set a starting price for the lot. Most stamps are valuble because they are rare, not because they are old. Next they increase in vvalu a great deal for very small amounts of centering perfection. the better it is the more it's worth. some are 900 times catalog price. After 1935 most stamps fall off in price fast however I have a 2000 stamp worth $200 so even that is not all ways the case. Good luck the fun is in the hunt. I have collected 40 years now.

  2. Wow..that really will vary according to what you have. Some can be quite valuable , while still others are quite worthless. A scan would be helpful, or more detail as well.

  3. Stamps' values, as with most collectibles, will depend on their condition and scarcity (supply and demand).  Search these sites to see what kind of values you find.

You might also try to locate a stamp dealer or stamp club in your town http://www.stamps.org/directories/dir_De...

    Good luck.
