I know that currency and circulation muddle things, but I just want a clear answer in terms of US dollars that the United States can back in gold or things of value.

  1. Hard question to quantify, but GDP OF 2007 was 15 trillion.

  2. In terms of freedom and opportunity we are priceless.

  3. You can want a clear answer all you want but until you come up with a good question, you will just get a bunch of mishmash.

Do you mean if we sold off all of our real-estate to outsiders?

Do you understand that currency is debt? It is no longer backed by anything. It is a promissory note and comes with interest since the US does not own our national bank. It is owned by investors - mostly foreign. It is supposed to be tied to the GNP. The deficit comes when we don't produce as much of value while printing a lot of money.

That is one of the reasons we may be in for a big surprise soon. George Bush made the amount of dollars printed a secret. It was always reported before. The only reason to hide it would be that he is having a lot of dollars printed to hide the real size of the debt. (G3)

We are not the only ones who have been cooking our books, so to speak. There could be a world wide banking system collapse soon. They are so intertwined that they will go down like dominos, starting with the US...

We have very little gold at Fort Knox and lots of dollars. Not even 10%.
