  1. Well let’s see,

America is 300 million out of 6.5 billion

    America feeds half the world

America produces 3/4 all durable goods in the world

While Chain and India produce nothing but cheep pieces of c**p that are not worth buying.

America provides more aid to poor countries than the other 191 nations on the planet.

America is the #1 final destinations choice of all Immigrants in the world

American has saved not once but twice count them folks TWICE all nations of Europe, including but not limited to

England, France, Scotland, Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Norway, Sweden, Luxembourg, Hungary, Poland, Scandinavia, Finland, Norway

    Get the picture?

Do I feel guilty about that?  h**l no.

  2. america is a great country they said. i think they just proud of they self until they forgot the value of their life by not notice the climate change. look their country start to achieve their consequences. like storm and then earthquake, etc. but the funny thing they don't realize because all school and government are not teaching about this global warming issues. that country is good but the ruler are not good enough. they are selfish and care about gold and money. they won't sign the kyoto protocol because they knew that the penalty are spend a lot of money because of the emissions that they produce.

  3. Who cares about CO2 emissions? CO2 is a necessary gas and we would all be dead if it did not exist. The reason is plants inhale CO2 and produce Oxygen. We inhale oxygen and exhale CO2.

There are other emissions we should worry about, but not CO2.

  4. Had a friend recently return from mainland China.

    Americans are angels.

  5. "The United States continues to be the largest single national source of fossil fuel-related CO2 emissions with emissions of 1650 million metric tons of carbon in 2004"

All Americans contribute to carbon emissions.  Whether you eat, drink or sleep, you're using resources that were made while producing carbon dioxide as a bi-product.

If you purchase renewable energy, ride bicycles, opt for solar power, you don't have to feel as guilty.

Please see the following links for a lot of info.

    Good luck!

  6. Us Americans are guilty of every thing and if we did not do it! President Bush then did it

  7. How about all the alarmists move to a less CO2 emitting country so that we can remain in peace with all our money, commerce and jobs in tact.  That would be just fine with me.  Bad ole USA; you alarmists deserve much better than what we are providing you.  So, get out!

  8. Absolutely not and I never will. And I really don't know how much we contribute the the emissions. Maybe around 20% and China 27%.

  9. We certainly emit more CO2 than other countries but this is based on our prosperity more than anything.  I certainly don't feel guilt about it but get a bit concerned when people suggest that maybe we are a little too prosperous and want to punish us for that to make us more like third worlders.

  10. America is doing better in this respect than previously, but could still do much, much more.  I refuse to say that America is taking the matter seriously until it signs the Kyoto accord--the same goes for Australia(my homeland), by the way.  It also is the major holdout.

  11. We are tied or second to the being the largest carbon emitter. CHina recently became number one.  But they have 5 times our population and is not a significant Carbon emitter per capita.   We are the second largest carbon emitter per capita.  THere is a very small Middle Eastern country who polutes more per capita.   The problem is how much pollution can a nation emit.   CHina's population traditionally is 1/4 to 1/5 the world population.   They should produce 1/4 to 1/5 of the world carbon emission.   But their population would someday crash.   SHould they be able to pollute that much if they drop to being only 1/6 th.  Should the country who don't control their population be able to pollute more in the future.   SHould we take account that in the past , Europe dumped larged amount of pollution in the air and India and CHina did not.    US wants to fight the Kyoto pack becasue they believe in locking in the current pollution situation.   THat means we can continue to pollute more per person than the average CHinese, so they can never catch up to our living standard.   On the other hand, Europe and Japan strongly support the Kyoto pack, because give an unfair advantage to their countries over other developed nations because their population is shrinking and so it would be easier for them to cut carbon emmissions.   US population is slowly growing and I believe Australia and Canada as well, which both has pulled out, I believe.
