How much is the Volkswagon 285 MPG car?

I saw the volkswagon car on the internet and I told my parents and they were wondering how much it is. Its supposed to come out in 2010.

It is a concept right now. I kind of looks like a bubble...

The material to make the car is too expensive right now for mass production but they are planning on starting it in 2012.

hahahahahahahahahaha 285mpg? I wish I would buy it in a second. keep dreaming. Its not possible at all right now and probably for a long time. Plug in Prius's are as efficent as its gonna get for a while. Those get 100 mpg if lucky.

if you go down a hill really fast, the trip computer will tell you that you're getting 150 MPG. i realized that the other day in my passat. i don't think there will be a 285 MPG normal car any time soon, though. sorry
