  2. Quite poor. $15 per hour if your'e lucky. The place is overun with temporary agencies too. Slave labour merchants. The only way to be in oz is self employed with something to sell them. Their work ethic is appalling basically. No matter what skills you may have australia expects you to retrain at your own expense then join the casual job rat race. You won't get rich in australia and the $AU is not valuable elsewhere so you risk becoming financially locked into the place, unless you are very smart.
