By saying this I mean, how many people are there at disneyland per day? Just an average..

Disney doesn't give daily attendance figures, so any numbers you get are going to be based on their annual report. It varies quite a bit, and this year the average is WAY down due to high gas prices and the economy. 40 thousand might be a bit high. Best times to go are after Labor Day and before Halloween. On a really busy day, tha park peaks out over 70,000.
